Data Deletion

ORXTERA DATA DELETION

Effective date: August 14, 2026. Last updated: September 10, 2026.

1. Scope

This page explains how businesses, authorized users and individuals can request deletion of information held by Orxtera.

Orxtera is operated by Shohnatex LLC, Egypt.

The appropriate process depends on whether the request concerns:

an Orxtera organization;

a user account;

customer or contact data processed by a business;

information received through a connected integration; or

information held independently by a third-party provider.

2. Start a Deletion Request

A deletion request may be submitted through the Privacy & Data route on:

https://orxtera.com/contact

Where an in-product deletion control is available, that control may also be used.

A request should include enough information to identify the relevant account, organization or data without unnecessarily disclosing additional sensitive information.

3. Identity and Authority Verification

To protect information from unauthorized deletion, Shohnatex may take reasonable steps to verify:

the identity of the requester;

ownership or control of the relevant account;

the requester’s authority to act for an organization; or

the relationship between the requester and the information concerned.

Verification requirements may vary depending on the sensitivity and scope of the request.

4. Organization and Account Deletion

An authorized account owner may request deletion of an Orxtera organization or account.

Where deletion is technically and legally available, this may include removal or anonymization of:

organization and account records;

team-member records;

merchant-provided catalog and business data;

customer records;

order and fulfillment data;

conversations stored in Orxtera;

merchant-specific business memory and Nader context;

stored integration authorizations held by Orxtera.

Some records may need to be retained where required by law, security, accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention or other legitimate obligations.

5. Deletion of Specific Data

A business may request deletion or anonymization of specific eligible data without deleting its entire organization.

The request should identify the relevant records or category of information with enough detail for Orxtera to locate it.

6. Requests From Customers of Orxtera Businesses

If you are a customer or contact of a business using Orxtera, that business generally determines the purpose for which your information is processed.

You should normally submit your request to that business first.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, Shohnatex may assist the business in fulfilling a valid request for information processed through Orxtera.

7. Connected Integrations

Disconnecting or revoking an integration stops future authorized access once the revocation becomes effective.

Revoking access does not automatically delete:

information already lawfully received and retained by Orxtera; or

information independently held by the connected provider.

A separate deletion request may therefore be required for information retained by Orxtera.

8. Google Data

Users may revoke Orxtera’s access to Google services through applicable Google account controls.

Revoking access stops future authorized access after revocation takes effect.

Where Orxtera retains eligible Google-derived information, a deletion request may be submitted through the process described on this page.

Deleting information held by Orxtera does not delete information independently maintained by Google.

9. Meta and Messaging/Social Platform Data

If Orxtera holds Meta Platform Data about you or on behalf of your business, you may request deletion directly through admin@orxtera.com or the Privacy & Data route on our Contact page. Customers of a business may also contact that business; this does not prevent a direct request to Orxtera.

We handle valid deletion requests received from users, clients or Meta promptly and notify the relevant client promptly when Meta communicates a user request concerning that client’s data. Identity or authority checks may be needed to locate the data and protect it from unauthorized deletion.

Meta Platform Data must be deleted as soon as reasonably possible when the user or client requests deletion, when the client no longer has an account with Orxtera, when the relevant service stops operating, when retention is no longer necessary for a permitted service purpose, or when Meta or applicable law requires deletion. Applicable Meta requirements govern the scope and handling of these requests.

Where applicable law or regulation requires retention, we retain only the required data for the required period and keep evidence of that requirement. General operational, backup, security or accounting language elsewhere on this page is not a blanket exception to Meta-specific deletion obligations.

Disconnecting an integration or revoking authorization stops future authorized access once effective; it is distinct from requesting deletion of stored data. Disconnection does not remove copies held independently by Meta or another provider, and does not cancel any deletion obligation that otherwise applies to Orxtera.

Use the same email or contact route to request acknowledgement, check progress and obtain confirmation of completion or an explanation of any legally required retention. Include the relevant business or account and any request reference already provided, without sending passwords or access tokens.

Where a request includes a confirmation code and status link, use them to check that request’s status. You may also contact admin@orxtera.com for follow-up. You can request status and completion confirmation through this contact route even if no code or status link was provided.

10. Third-Party Copies

Deleting information from Orxtera does not automatically delete copies held independently by:

messaging providers;

social platforms;

payment providers;

logistics providers;

advertising platforms;

identity providers;

productivity services;

other connected third parties.

Requests concerning information held independently by those providers must be handled through their own privacy or account controls.

11. Backups and Security Logs

Information deleted from active systems may remain temporarily in restricted backup or security systems until those systems are rotated or the information is no longer required for legitimate security, recovery or compliance purposes.

Backup or security copies are not intended for ordinary operational use after a valid deletion request has been completed.

12. Legal and Operational Retention

Shohnatex may retain narrowly limited information where retention is required or permitted for purposes such as:

legal compliance;

tax or accounting obligations;

fraud or abuse prevention;

security investigations;

dispute resolution;

enforcement or defence of legal rights.

Information retained for such purposes will not be used for unrelated purposes.

13. What Happens After a Valid Request

After a request has been verified and reviewed, Shohnatex will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize eligible information from active Orxtera systems.

Where information cannot be deleted, the reason may include a legal, security, accounting or operational retention requirement.

We do not publish a universal completion deadline unless the corresponding operational process supports that commitment.

14. Irreversibility

Deletion of eligible information may be permanent and irreversible.

Businesses should ensure they have retained any records they are legally required to keep before requesting deletion.

15. Contact

Data deletion and privacy requests may be submitted to:

admin@orxtera.com

They may also be submitted through:

using the Privacy & Data route.
